The Britney Spears VMA Performance
A couple of things:
She was visibly stumbling throughout the entire performance.
She missed her lip sync cues at least three times.
Other performers (Rihanna especially) were laughing at her.
She should NOT be wearing these kind of outfits anymore, kwim?
Overall, it was quite embarrassing to watch her do this, although I do really like the song.

Does this prove to Britney that she should just stay home and take care of the kids? She looked like she just woke up, learned the dance moves about an hour ago and stumbled around the MTV stage looking like she couldn’t care less about being there. And the outfit. Yeah, she’s had 2 babies and MAY look better than some mom’s, but that doesn’t give her license to wear something that only a 100 lb. extremely fit hardbody should wear. The baby paunch was so prominent (also the jiggly thighs that she tried to hide with the sheer black hosery). Britney, spare us, please, from anymore public displays of your embarrassments!

i was actually SOO EXCITED to see her perform! like i really thought she’d kill it and her career would be back on track.. but she KILLED IT in a different way.. i wished she looked more intereseted with everthing.. i notived the dancers more.. she shouldve worn something a lil more covered up and gone with the long wavy hair instead of.. that.. still a fan tho.. she’ll come through

IT WAS A TRAIN WRECK! EITHER SHE NEEDS TO STOP TAKING DRUGS OR START. IT WAS SAD FOR HER BUT AMUSING FOR ME OUNCE I GOT OVER THE SHOCK AND EMBARRASSMENT I HAD FOR HER. LETS NOT FORGET THE DANCE MOVES SUCKED AND SHE SUCKED DOING THEM. NOTE TO SELF BRITNEY DO NOT WEAR A GLORIFIED BRA AND PANTY IF YOU STILL HAVE ABOUT 10 POUNDS OF BABY WIGHT THAT YOU HAVE YET TO LOOSE(GO BACK TO DOING 1000 SIT UPS A DAY). AND WHAT WAS UP WITH THOSE RIDICULOUS BLUE CONTACTS. GREAT. THE LOOKS ON DIDDY’S AND 50 CENT FACE WAS PRICE LESS POOR RIHANNA COULD HELP BUT LAUGH . Her performance was truly bad! I was honestly hoping this would be her come back performance…I never thought Brittany to be a great singer, but those who say she never had any talent are wrong!!! She used to be a awesome dancer and great performer, I find her down fall REALLY sad!!!!

Actually the more I watch this video, the less bad it appears. Certainly far from a professional piece of work, but you know, it’s still Britney. And even 10lbs over, she still looks reasonably hot. The song, while nothing special, is catchy and I predict will be a club hit.

Her performance looked WOODEN, like a Pinocchio doll on crack, dancing to a tune. I wasn’t quite sure what I was watching… I got confused.
Sometimes, you just have to change up your style after awhile. She’s NOT a teenager anymore. She’s a 25 year-old mother. Britney, stop the future embarrassment of your children–even if you don’t care about yourself.

Has any one noticed that Rhianna does the same shit!!! she looks totally uninterested in her songs and her dancers tend to stand out more then she does !! so my question is why in the hell was she laughing in fact that would be the only time i saw her facial expression change!!! wait i just figured out why she was laughing at poor brit its because she can do that shit and get away With it cause shes about 50 pounds less then brit and 100 times more sexier!!! still thats no excuse

yes - the performance was terrible. i don’t know if her dancing was meant to be that way (because of the nature of the song) or if she was really THAT lacksadaisacal??? she looked like she could care less. that was sad.
but to all you rippin’ on her bod - - skinny is GROSS - britneys’ got a HOT BOD!!!

OMG - sorry i have to comment again. i just re-watched the video. i swear some of you have nothing better to do than sit around and make fun of others. i’d like to see you.
#1 - you can’t even SEE diddy’s face, let alone presume that his face is “priceless”
#2 - i’m also pretty sure that 50’s face isn’t “priceless” either. to me, he looked as happy as a little boy at christmas with all those half naked chicks dancing in front of him.
#3 - rihanna is obviously NOT laughing at britney’s performance. she looks like she’s just having a good time. yes, yes. maybe it’s possible her friend next to her said something about britney and she’s laughing it up but it looks more to me like she’s just having a good time.

I saw the MTV performance on the net and this was not the Britney I am used to seeing on stage. She appeared scared and did not have that spark or confidence she normally has. Her heart was just not there. The Britney we are used to seeing always produces prevocative and wow performances. I won’t go as far as saying that her career is over, she simply was not ready. She needs to hook up with better people. She’s had 2 pregnancies and a whole lot of problems in the last couple of years. Give the girl a break! Lets not forget her past performances and success! Other artists should not be laughing at her but perhaps offer to help her as you never know what the future will bring for their careers, but I guess that’s Hollywood! when you look and feel great and your record’s a hit, everyone is your friend, but as soon as your down people laugh. F**N hipocrytes!

It actually wasn’t that bad. Maybe she wasn’t as good as she used to be but the song is catchy and i think she’ll probably make a comeback. It wasn’t as intense and high energy as her other performances but it wasn’t as bad as people are saying. And she does not look fat. That just shows how our society is so focused on appearance. Thats fine, have fun with the Nicole Ritchies of this world.
ps. I think Rihanna is laughing at the girl dancing on the stripper pole right above her, not Britney.

She sucked pure and simple!! Those that are making excuses..Stop it! Who cares she had trials and tribulations…we all do! She had an opportunity in life that most of us do not get and she is drinking, clubbing and drugging it away! If she doesnt care enought about herself, her children and her profession…i dont know what else to say! Only she can turn it around and if people arent honest with her…she never will!

It is assured, that anybody from you cannot act better than Britney on it video.
You can chatter and only! The Voice at it magnificent, and what it has acted нf VMA and about it is written with any mucks, speaks about a level of those people, look at itself, what you can make better than it??. I think britney rocks!! she always has done..she is a gd singer she did live stuff when she was younger..its clearly her record company that have the problem adn the people that exploit her!! at the end of the day shes just a girl with some problems that need sorting out.she just wasnt ready to do that performance..she is a brilliant dancer look at her videos!! and as 4 rihanna…shes just jealous cos britneys been aroung far longer than she has..with better songs!!!

1.MTV gave her a bad outfit
2.she was on drugs
3.she needed to rehearsal this song more
4.she swore never to wear this kind of outfit agian
