Here’s a quick snippet of what she had to say about writing the episode:

“I feel like House and Wilson, they deserve mythology. They’re larger-than-life characters. There was one moment when I was typing the script where Wilson does something and I wrote: ‘This is an iconic moment.’ I thought someone would make me take that out, but they didn’t.”

The Twilight cast, introduced by host Russell Brand, were at the 2008 MTV VMAs and had the honor pf presenting Paramore with an award. When Russell introduces them he said, "The popular Twilight books, these books are bloody popular, these Twilight books!"

Just a tad bit popular huh?!

It turns out that the contract between Jones, Paramount and its subsidiary, N.M. Classics, Inc. contained two errors that may have prevented him from making upwards of $10 million in the wake of the film’s success.

Jones wants an auditor to go through their books and figure out just how much he’s owed. No formal comment from either side yet, but hey, if he’s owed some money, he should get it.

Some of the High School Musical 3 cast, which included Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu, attended the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. They were invited to the show to introduce music sensation Christina Aguilera.

I am beginning to think that Vanessa did not walk the red carpet at the awards. She wasn’t seen with Zac and I have yet to find one picture. Maybe she just decided to skip it for some reason.

Taylor Swift interviewed the Jonas Brothers in ‘Fashion Central’ at the 2008 MTV VMAs. Taylor introduced them as her ‘favorite people in the world‘. I bet Joe Jonas is they are!

The JBs are definitely some of the most fashionable guys in Hollywood, don’t you think? They looked amazing at the VMAs!

Michael Moore

Slacker Uprising follows Moore’s 62-city tour during the 2004 election to rally young voters. It will be available for three weeks as a free download to North American residents, beginning Sept. 23.

Instead of releasing the film theatrically, as he did with 2004’s Fahrenheit 9/11, he opted to give something back to his fans. “I thought it’d be a nice way to celebrate my 20th year of doing this, and also help get out the vote for November,” Moore said. “I’ve been thinking about what I want to do to help with the election this year.”

The 97-minute long film will be the first major film to be released this way. Last December, Jackass 2.5 was streamed online for free, but that was only a collection of left over material from Jackass 2.

It’s a fairly new distribution tactic, but one that’s becoming more trendy. Last year, Radiohead released their seventh album, “In Rainbows,” online with optional pricing. In 2006, Neil Young streamed his anti-war album, Living With War, for free before its standard release.

And companies like ClickStar, co-founded by Morgan Freeman, have made films still in theaters - such as 2006’s 10 Items or Less - digitally available for purchase or rental.

Moore said that “Slacker Uprising” cost about $2 million to make and that he will end up paying about $1 million out of his pocket. Neither he nor the distributor, Brave New Films, plan to profit from the release.

Sign up for the download at www.SlackerUprising.com. A “Night of a Thousand House Parties” is planned for Oct. 4, when local neighborhood screenings are hoped to be scheduled. A DVD will be released Oct. 7.

Moore last week released a paperback book, Mike’s Election Guide 2008, and is currently working on a movie for theatrical release next year. While he declined to say much about it, the film is expected to examine America as an empire.

American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, is at the 2008 Video Music Awards tonight and she looks really good!  She was sitting right behind Britney Spears in the audience (have you guys been watching the show?). 

What do you think of Jordin’s red carpet fashion?  Sometimes I think she’s a miss but tonight I this is a real HIT!

The Jonas Brothers did an AMAZING job performing Love Bug for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. They looked great, sounded great and the part where the walls pulled away was AWESOME! Could you believe all of those fans rushing in?

A pregnant Ashlee Simpson at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. Earlier today I read that Ashlee and Pete Wentz may be expecting twins! Their reps have denied it of course, but I wouldn’t doubt it for a minute if it’s true.
