Showtime has this to say about Brotherhood’s third season:

After winning his closely contested re-election campaign, Tommy is left as a subordinate to Speaker Donatello, which makes him contemplate leaving political life altogether. But, to do that, he needs to make some money first. And how do you make money as a politician? You play fast and loose with the rules. To wit, Tommy takes an under-the-table piece of a large-scale construction project. As for Michael Caffee, his precarious position as boss comes under siege as he is slowly overwhelmed by ever-building paranoia. All the regular characters will return, including Cousin Colin who falls for Michael’s woman.

The Warner Bros. film broke another record today by becoming the fastest ever to cross the $200 million mark — in five days. The previous record of eight days was held by three films: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, Spider-Man 2 and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight added $20.87 million today, pushing its total to $203.8 million. That puts it at No. 84 on the all-time domestic blockbuster list after just five days.

I didn’t even know there was a Law and Order UK, but there is and that’s where Battlestar Galactica’s Apollo is headed. Bamber told E News that the show is just like our Law and Order only focusing on the British judiciary system.

Sci fi fans may love this show as it also stars Freema Agyeman, better known as Dr. Who companion Martha Jones. Well, now I have to watch it. Cut off one Law and Order show and two more take its place. Seriously though, it will be good to see two of my favorite actors in a drama that might make it six or seven years. Let’s face it, sci fi is not a safe paycheck.

It was fun but HARSH on the latest installment of Project Runway- I was thrilled to see Suede’s design hit www.BlueFly.com as he was the winner of the latest challenge! I was worried soooo much about Stella’s design though, the judges -including Natalie Portman- were not happy with the short and shiny outfits. But she was in the top of the game this time.

But what would YOU do if someone else selects fabric for your project and they don’t GIVE you anything to work with? I cannot even imagine how tough that had to be!

It was a good episode… but I cringe everytime I hear the Heidi-nator say, “And one of you, is OUT.” She says it with such conviction. Ouch!

Since she can’t give away one of her pop CD’s, Jessica Simpson figured she would try her hand at country music. So far the results are almost as good as her acting.

Wearing a costume not that much different from the one she played Daisy Duke in, Simpson played to boos at Wisconsin’s Country Thunder Festival. The Kenosha News reports that most fans who saw Simpson open for Sara Evans were very unimpressed.

Realizing she was losing the crowd, Simpson tried to establish her country cred by explaining she was just like the folks in the audience. She said she’s just a girl from Texas who’s dating a boy. Unless the boy you’re dating happens to be an NFL quarterback, you’re not just like Jessica. There are at best 32 girls (and probably a couple of guys) who could claim to be dating a boy just like the one Jessica has.

See, even you were breathless after reading all that. Like seriously, we’re not stupid. We’ve already figured out that Sam and Lucky faked it for those reasons the day the episode freaking aired. We don’t need Sam to actually recite a 10-page monologue about it. We’re not stupid.

Kudos to Kelly Monaco though for being able to do it. As for the writers, Go Green. You can save papers and ink by not writing all those lines. Coz guess what, We Know!!

Tonight, we saw the live eveiction ceremony on Big Brother 10. If you were unable to see the show, be sure to check back here because I will definitely get a clip of the two nominees’ speeches just before the vote. Steven was hilarious. I wasn’t a bit surprised, since he is just that kind of fun-natured person. Anyway, here is how the votes were cast:

It was unanimous. Steven is evicted. I will be sad for him to be gone. He’s a cool guy.

Then the houseguests played in the Head of Household competition. The houseguests had to answer questions about the mysteriously missing items in the house that week. After a tough bunch of questions, the winner and the new HOH is Keesha.

This should be an interesting week. Keesha has disagreed with a lot of the others in the house and she doesn’t trust Libra. Who do you think she will nominate for eviction?

This comes as a shock to absolutely no one, but Joel Surnow’s TNT show ‘Night and Day‘ has been picked up by the network.  ‘Night and Day‘ is described as a gritty drama about the life of an ATF (alcohol, tobacco, firearms) agent.

Surnow co-wrote the script and will also co-executive producer.  ‘Night and Day‘ marks Surnow’s return to tv, after he left 24 in February.

No details yet on when the show will air.

In theaters October 17, 2008, the action-thriller tells the story of a maverick cop (doesn’t Wahlberg always get those roles?), determined to track down the people responsible for the murder of his family and partner. You guessed it: Things get dicey.

Directed by John Moore, this movie also stars Mila Kunis, Beau Bridges, Ludacris, and Chris O’Donnell. No rating yet, but I’m guessing R.

I’ve been so psyched about seeing this movie ever since I heard about it. I never watched the TV show too much, but tried to catch an episode here and there. I think the movie will be good, even if you’ve never seen the show.

The X-Files: I Want to Believe brings back our favorite characters, Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) for another thrilling sci-fi adventure. And I LOVE the theme song. So haunting and beautiful.

When a female FBI agent goes missing in mysterious circumstances, the Agency calls on the very retired and reticent Mulder — through his ex Agency partner, Dana Scully, now a busy physician. She has her own problems, trying to save the life of a boy with serious brain disease. But she convinces Mulder, who becomes intrigued by convicted pedophile priest Father Joe (Billy Connolly). His apparent psychic powers lead the FBI to their first grisly clue. As another woman goes missing, things intensify as Mulder’s willingness to believe is shaken and those around him, even Scully, draw back from the inexplicable.

Directed by Chris Carter, this movie also stars Amanda Peet and Alvin “Xzibit” Joiner. Opens in theaters July 25, 2008. Rated PG-13 for violent and disturbing content and thematic material.

As for other scoop…. Did you know that the gorgeous brunette from She’s All That is buds with the gorgeous brunette from Can’t Hardly Wait? ‘Tis true — on Ghost Whisperer, at least. Rachael Leigh Cook will be guesting as a former(and apparently way more popular) high school pal of Melinda’s who enlists the Whisperer when a mutual acquaintance dies.
