Britney Spears’ boys arrive in Australia

I think that Britney Spears is going to have a better time in Australia now – her boys have all arrived in Australia. Not only are her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston finally being reunited with their mom, but Britney’s boyfriend Jason Trawick has also come along.

I’m glad that Jason is with Britney in Australia because maybe he can help to distract her from all the negativity a few people are stirring up over the so-called “controversial” (whatever) lip syncing.

There are also photos of Britney swimming at the hotel’s indoor pool with Jason and the boys but I’m not comfortable with posting them. They’re very obviously taken by photographers hiding close by. I don’t mind photos of them when they’re outside and expect to be photographed but it bothers me when paparazzi invade privacy to the point of taking shots in through windows, especially with children involved. Suffice it to say that Britney, Sean, Jayden, and Jason all seem to be having a wonderful time!

Britney Spears dealing with lip sync outrage

Again I’m left confused and annoyed by the continuing outrage in Australia over Britney Spears lip syncing during her shows. Apparently none of the people who are bitter have ever actually heard of Britney since it’s very common knowledge that she pretty much always lip syncs during her concerts.

The latest upset is that various Internet sources are apparently reporting that angry fans stormed out of Britney’s Perth show last week, leaving in droves. According to Paul Dainty, Brit’s tour promoter, that’s an absolute lie. He said:

“It’s the biggest lie I’ve ever heard. I’m so angry. We can take heat if there’s something wrong and people can review shows badly – that’s something you have to live with – but to say people stormed out of the show was an absolute fabrication.”

I’m sure some people did leave but I imagine that the numbers have been greatly exaggerated. Clips that I’ve seen on YouTube show a pretty full house and comments on those videos have regularly stated that the venue was packed.

Paul went on to express his concerns for Britney because she’s been hurt by the negativity.

“Britney is aware of all this and she’s extremely upset by it. She’s a human being. I’m embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting.”

Honestly. I still don’t get it. As I said already in a previous post, when you go see a Britney Spears concert you don’t go so that you can hear killer live vocals. You go for the SHOW, for the amazing performance. Anyone who doesn’t know that and ends up disappointed has clearly been living under a rock for years.

Britney Spears performs first Australian show in Perth

On Friday night, Perth, Australia got to finally share in the excitement of Britney Spears performing her Circus Tour. Britney took over the Burswood Dome for her own three-ring circus and it looks like the entire show was pretty high-energy.

Here’s Britney performing “Toxic” – unlike many video cameras in large venues, this one seems to have picked up the sound pretty well without much distortion.

This concert-goer put together a bit of “Circus” and “Piece of Me”.

In the comments someone had this to say about the Circus show in Perth:

was AMAZING, worth the $200 i paid for. She didnt sing 3, she played the exact set list as usual, was AMAZING and made FULL use of the stage!! PLUS she addressed the audience!!!! she said WAssup Perth, You have a beautiful country” As far as i was concerned the effort she put in was phenomonal, and it didnt matter she didnt sing live coz the show would not have been as spectacular!!

Someone else also added that the Dome was pretty much full. Sounds like Australia is very eager to see Britney Spears up on stage!

We already knew yesterday that Britney Spears arrived safely in Australia but now some photos have surfaced as well.

Britney made it to Perth in West Australia but it took her about 23 hours to fly there! Wow! Although Britney flew in with her dad, Jamie Spears, Kevin Federline will bring Jayden James and Sean Preston to the country as soon as he’s done with a segment of his reality show. As a parent I’d just like to say how happy I am that it’s not ME flying 23 hours with two young children.

No word on whether boyfriend Jason Trawick will join Britney in Australia as well. I hope so!

Even though she must have been pretty tired, Britney looked to be in good spirits in these photos – it must be because of her excitement about performing in Australia for the first time! It’s just too bad she didn’t have a bit more time before her first show because I’ll bet she’d like to shake off the extreme jet lag a bit first!

Britney Spears arrives in Australia

It was clear that Britney Spears cared about her fans since she took the time to post to Twitter to let everyone know that she had arrived safe and sound in Australia after leaving Los Angeles for her newest extension of her Circus Tour.

She wrote:

Longest flight ever but we had a great time. Really cool plane and the V staff took great care of us. So excited to be here! -Britney

Meanwhile, Australia is gearing up for Britney’s performances with a local news site discussing the fact that Aussies are willing to pay up to $1500 to see her on stage, even if lip-syncing doesn’t normally go over very well in that country.

The article states, “Despite boasting a long history as a nation where artists prove their worth as live performers, thousands of Australians seem unperturbed by Spears’ reluctance to test her singing ability in front of large crowds.”

The thing is, I’m not that surprised. When you consider how much dancing Britney does on stage it would be difficult for her to do a top-notch performance if she was singing every note live. It’s always fun when she does sing something live like the time she surprised fans with an impromptu performance of Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know”. Still, I think that people would rather watch Britney dance her ass off and settle for lip syncing.

Britney Spears jets off to Australia!

Britney Spears was seen at the airport in Los Angeles Monday night, looking a little bit tired as she passed through security and got ready to board a flight.

She could have been going anywhere but Britney posted to Twitter, saying:

Jumping on V Australia. This plane is awesome! I’ll be down under tomorrow. Can’t wait! -Britney

Time goes so fast! We’ve been able to see Britney relaxing with her sons and Jason Trawick, just enjoying herself, and it’s hard to believe it’s already time for her to resume her Circus tour!

I hope Australia is ready for Britney’s show, they’re going to have a blast!

Worldwide release of Britney Spears’ “3″ video

Today is an exciting day around the Internet for Britney Spears fans. Do you know why? Because Britney has released her full music video for “3″ today, that’s why!

Although I can’t embed it directly, you can go over here to see the official video for “3″. It’s pretty steamy in parts, as one would expect with a song about threesomes, and Britney looks hot!

Britney Spears teases us with “3″ clips

With the countdown on for the official release of Britney Spears’ new video for “3″ it seems that Britney wants to tease us a little. She’s giving us three five-second clips from the video over on Twitter.

So far she’s let us see the very first clip and it’s so mean because it just makes me want to see more. I do have to say that Britney looks incredible in the video, that’s for sure! Take a look at clip #1 over here to see what I mean. She looks gorgeous!

Britney Spears chooses fan-designed t-shirt winner

I love when celebrities are really aware of the fact that their fans are what keeps them going – celebrities who interact with their fans are awesome, regardless of how they do it. Britney Spears is too busy to keep up with all her fans on Twitter, but she does find other ways to keep fans a major part of her career.

Recently Britney held a contest where a fan could design a t-shirt. She reviewed all the submissions and chose one winner who would have the t-shirt showcased on her official site and sold in the store.

This is the winning Britney Spears t-shirt. I really like it. It was designed before “3″ was released but it actually ties in quite well with the new single, don’t you think? The designer’s name is Leon Gonzales and he explained his motivation for the shirt: “When I designed this T-shirt I thought of something simple, easy to wear and not too much overload but I also thought of something that expressed my love for Britney. This design was influenced by 80’s style and a little bit of elegant-glam.”

Britney Spears’ “Toxic” voted sexiest video of all time

A survey that was apparently done in the UK shows that people named Britney Spears’ “Toxic” the sexiest video of all time. I’m not sure I’d pick it as the absolute hottest video ever, but I can see why it won. Britney wore some fantastic costumes in it and she looked gorgeous.

You can see the full video here if you need a reminder! I think one of my favorite things that Britney has ever worn is that sheer bodysuit with the sparkles on it. It’s obviously not something anyone would actually wear in public (well, maybe Lady Gaga would because she’s crazy that way) but in a music video it works and she looks so stunning in it.

Britney’s video beat out Shakira’s “She Wolf” and JLS‘ “Beat Again” among others. For the sake of comparison, “Hung up” by Madonna was voted the LEAST sexy video of all time.
