Former Blossom child actress Mayim Bialik joins TNT’s Saving Grace for the new July 14 episode with the most interesting title “Moooooooo.” Hope they didn’t leave out any os by mistake.

During the episode, Grace must confront her own spirituality when OCPD’s finest investigate the case of a Hasidic Jew whose murdered body is left near a herd of dead cows.

Also, Grace tries to connect with Neely, while Ham’s sister-in-law, Amanda, struggles to put her husband’s death behind her.

And Ray is assigned to serve as Amanda’s personal nurse when she enters the hospital without Christina’s knowledge.

It looks like Roland accepts that new job offer from Terrence on tonight’s new episode of Army Wives “Family Readiness.” Good because that means we lucky viewers will get to see more of terrific guest star Clifton Powell, who plays the psychologist.

Tonight (July 12) at 9pm ET, Lifetime premieres the network’s latest original series, an hourlong dramedy called Drop Dead Diva.

The show stars stage actress Brooke Elliott in her first television role. She plays Jane Bingum, a brilliant attorney whose body is taken over by a vapid model after the latter dies and gets another chance at life. Veteran standup comic and actress Margaret Cho co-stars as Jane’s faithful assistant Teri.

A special treat long in the making finally happens tonight, July 7, for fans of TNT’s Saving Grace. I’m talking about the brand-new episode “What Would You Do?,” which was originally scheduled to air near the end of the second season.

So, what makes this episode so noteworthy? That would be guest star and film actor F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus, Thir13en Ghosts), who plays the pivotal role of Earl’s fellow angel Matthew.

Matthew arrives in Earl’s territory following troubles winning souls, which has the potential to lead to all kinds of no-good. Meanwhile, OCPD’s finest are busy trying to solve the case of a string of violent and deadly home invasions. Their main problem is figuring out what it means when the latest seemingly related crime doesn’t fit the established pattern to a T.

I had the opportunity to watch this episode in advance, so believe me when I tell you it was worth the wait. We not only get to learn more about mysterious Earl, but also the literally angelic world he inhabits. Don’t miss “What Would You Do?,” especially if you’re a regular Saving Grace viewer.

There’s a whole lot — and I do mean a lot — going on during tonight’s (July 7) new episode of HawthoRNe called “All the Wrong Places.”

Christina’s latest time-consuming case finds her struggling to save the lives of a Korean woman and her young son, both of whom have serious injuries that appear unrelated to their recent car accident.

Also, David Gendler (24’s D.B. Woodside), the cancer patient and friend of Christina’s deceased husband whom we met during the series pilot, unexpectedly gets much better.

Kelly manages to get lost in the hospital.

Bobbie assists a young patient who might have to have her arm aputated.

Candy’s fondness for giving “special” help to war-injured soldiers hampers love-struck Ray.

And Camille gets permission for a school trip from her grandmother Amanda (returning guest star Joanna Cassidy) without her mother’s knowledge. Uh-oh. That’s another catfight waiting to happen.

The members of Team Brenda are taking a walk down memory lane, so to speak, on the latest new episode of The Closer, tonight’s (July 6) “Half Load.”

The action is set in motion when someone murders a person who used to belong to a gang, but Brenda’s squad soon learns the victim probably wasn’t the intended target of the violence. Other clues then point the detectives in another direction.

That would be Father Jack (a character some viewers will remember from the third-season episode “Grave Doubts,” played by Mark Rolston, pictured at left in the top photo), the Crenshaw Community Center, and local residents who believe the LAPD couldn’t care less about preventing crime in their neck of the woods. Of course, Brenda can’t be having that, and she becomes determined to show the naysayers that she fights crime no matter where it occurs.

If you haven’t heard yet, Lifetime is rolling out a brand-new Sunday-night companion for its hit drama Army Wives next week on July 12. A lighter dramedy, the hourlong series is called Drop Dead Diva.

The show stars stage actress Brooke Elliott as attorney Jane Bingum, the heavier “reincarnated” version of a recently deceased vain model wannabe, as well as funny woman Margaret Cho as Jane’s loyal assistant.

The third episode of the newcomer is called “Do Over,” and when it premieres on July 26, viewers are in for a treat. Entertainer Rosie O’Donnell is featured as a special guest star on the episode, although that’s all I can tell you right now.

It’s still fairly early days, and Lifetime has photos up but no episode summary right now. The images do clearly show that either Elliott’s Jane or O’Donnell’s character is in jail, however, which should make for an interesting plotline, whatever it may be.

Drop Dead Diva will air Sundays on Lifetime at 9pm ET.
