Well, he explains it, sort of.  Here are some excerpts from the interview.

And you’re also doing General Hospital. Why?
I really don’t know the difference between [soap operas]. The one difference is that General Hospital has developed this whole organized-crime thread.

But why a soap opera at all?
Well … I’ve got other ideas for my participation in this soap opera beyond just being in this soap opera. But it’s been a blast so far. It was kind of mind-blowing. I’ve worked one day on it. It’s one day of a few. But I think we packed seven episodes of my material in. They gave me a script for the day that was as thick as a film script and that’s what we planned to shoot in a single day. No ad-libbing. If I needed it, they said they had a TelePrompTer, but the regulars didn’t use it so I didn’t want to use it, either. Anyway, I’m pretty good at remembering lines.

Is it different acting for film than it is for a daytime soap?
One big difference is that you do one take. They’re going for one take because they have about four cameras for each setup. It’s one take: You do the whole scene and then you’re on to the next. That’s three or four pages in a moment.

What’s your character like? It’s not another James Franco, is it?
I don’t know how much they want you to reveal.

Do you wear an eye patch?
I haven’t worn one yet.

Do you die?
I haven’t died yet. But they only gave me the pages for the day that we shot. I don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s all open.

So I hope that satisfies some of you soap fans.  Although, I am still mystified.  Whatever the case, I have never been a fan of soap operas, but if they’re good enough for James Franco, then they’re good enough for me.

Bauer-Griffin

Wow, big surprise.  The uber successful saga is up for Best Movie, Best Franchise and Best On-screen Team for its saucy love triangle featuring Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. 

Christian Serratos who plays Angela, the non-vampire friend to Bella should be nominated for biggest surprise sex symbol!  If you don’t know what I’m talking about then check out her naked photo spread here.

Other notable nominations are True Blood for Favorite TV Show (yes!) and a Best Actress nod for Anna Paquin for her staring role in TB.  What happend to Alex Skarsgard?  He definitely should have been nominated for Best Villain, or Sexiest Male in a TV show, ever.  Or they should at least just have him stand around with his shirt off.

This is Calvin Klein’s latest ad for his underwear line and it’s racier than ever.  In fact, it’s so sexy that it’s got the Soho residents, where it displayed, in such a tizzy that they are petitioning to have it removed.

Sure, actress Eva Mendes looks pretty provocative in it but I’d like to know who that piece of man candy beside her is!

Does anyone out there know?  Maybe someone at Model Stalker can help us?

Here they are being shielded from the cameras by director Chris Weitz and an assortment of bodyguards.  They are leaving LAX International Airport in Los Angles, but I could’ve sworn they were still in Vancouver filming Eclipse.

I really cannot keep up with them.  Pattinson is ever the reluctant, rough around the edges star.  Almost like a modern day James Dean.  What do you think?

And that means that there are new pictures of my boyfriend, Alex Skarsgard.  Even though he looks kind of dorky in these pictures, he still looks good enough to eat!

My love of all things Eric Northman began way back in the beginning of the summer and only intensified as the second season progressed.

I really hope Eric gets much more evil and sexy and lives up to his title as the Sexiest Vampire of All Time!

Courteney Cox recently caught up with Us Weekly, where she revealed that Perry snubbed her new show, Cougar Town.

“I did ask Matthew if he’d play my boyfriend on the show. He thought it was a little much after Chandler and Monica.”

Well, I’d have to agree with him.  You don’t want to ruin a good thing.  Friends went out on a high note, don’t tarnish the memory like Jennifer Aniston and Courteney did on the now defunct TV show, Dirt.

Don’t you recall Aniston and Cox making out on the short lived FX drama? Well, I do and Rachel and Monica having at it did nothing to save that show.  I’m not sure how Cougar Town is doing so far, but if Cox is asking her former friends to come back, then it can’t be good.

He can act, he can direct and he can speak Italian too!  Did you know that?  He’s by far one of my favorite directors out there and his movies just keep getting better and better.  Like him!  Usually my cut off is around 35, but for you, Clint, I’ll make an exception!

Here we have poster boy schmuck, Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz with beautiful girl, Emmy Rossum.  Duritz is a repeat offender.  He has taken down some of Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses, including Courtney Cox AND Jennifer Aniston as well as Monica Potter.

I just don’t get it.  The Counting Crows haven’t had

a hit song in years, so it’s not like the guy

is loaded with cash… or talent.

I guess chicks really do dig

guys in bands, even if they suck.

Not that Carrey is a schmuck, but there seems to be a big trend in Hollywood with bum-looking guys and hot girls.  And I don’t like it!

But Jenny and Jimmy do look really happy together and otherwise make a really good-looking couple!
