I love Mary-Kate’s outfit at the Isaac Mizrahi for QVC launch earlier this week. It’s a perfect look to rock for upcoming holiday parties. The sequins add a bit of glam but it’s still easy to move in!

Here’s how to get her look for less.

Sequined shorts (Forever 21, $15.80) and an oversized black sweater (Newport News, $39.00) make this look. Add tights (Kohl’s, $5.99), platform ankle boots (TopShop, $160.00), a red clutch (TopShop, $30.00), matching nail polish (Ulta, $3.99) and bold jewelry (Forever 21, $3.80 & $4.80) for a party-ready look!

Mary-Kate and Ashley oped for comfort when they flew from Los Angeles to New York City earlier this week. The twosome came to the Big Apple to support Isaac Mizrahi’s QVC line.

Mary-Kate & Ashley Talk Isaac Mizrahi for QVC

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were two of the several celebrities who came out to support the launch of Isaac Mizrahi for QVC. Isaac, who has long been a fashion designer and television personality, created an affordable and fashion-forward line for the home shopping channel.

Both MK and Ashley looked great at the launch, wearing pieces from Isaac’s collection. They took a few minutes out of having fun to chat with Entertainment Tonight about Isaac and affordable fashion.

I haven’t seen any pieces from the QVC collection yet, have you? I wonder what they look like! Isaac did a great job updating Liz Claiborne when he took over. I’m sure he has some great ideas for QVC as well.

There are a lot of different pieces from Olsenboye available at JCP.com. I wasn’t expecting this limited release to be so big! Clothes, shoes and accessories all went on sale earlier today in 50 stores across the country and online. Olsenboye will expand to 300 stores nationwide in February.

Olsenboye Available Today!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s new junior brand, Olsenboye, went on sale at JCP.com earlier today! The prices are already nearly half the original retail price! Shoes, clothing and accessories are all available for a limited time.

I like the collection but must say it feels very young. I get that it’s a juniors line geared towards girls 11-15, but girls today are much more fashion savvy. It will be interesting to see how well the collection does when it’s available across the country in February.

I really like the Hailey Combat boot. At $59.99 they’re a great deal!

mary-kateandashley Beauty Line No More

WWD is reporting that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s beauty line, mary-kateandashley, will no longer be produced. The line has been available exclusively at Wal-Mart since 2002 and included make-up, hairspray, fragrances and more.

However, MK and Ashley are open to doing another beauty line with JCPenney under the Olsenboye brand if the clothing, shoes and accesories do well.

I’m sad to see the line go, but it makes sense. MK and Ashley have grown up and so has their brand. It was time to move on. I’d love to see them do a beauty line affiliated with Elizabeth and James!

Mary-Kate & Ashley at Isaac Mizrahi’s QVC Launch

Isaac Mizrahi celebrated the launch of his line for QVC in New York City last night. 55 Secret Street posted this great photo of Mary-Kate and Ashley talking to Isaac at the party. Both girls are wearing the same outfits they had on earlier in the day. Maybe that’s why MK donned sequined shorts in the afternoon? She had a party to attend later!

Lots of celebrities came out to support Isaac, including Anne Heche, Mira Sorvino, Veronica Webb and Katrina Bowden. Mary-Kate and Ashley didn’t walk the red carpet, but you can see photos of the other celebs who did here.

Mary-Kate and Ashley in NYC

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted all bundled up at the LAX airport on Tuesday morning. No wonder – the girls were headed to New York City! If the weather there is anything like it’s been here in Toronto, they need all those layers.

I can’t post the images of the girls in the airport (I don’t want to get sued), but you can see them at Olsen Files.

Yesterday afternoon the twosome were seen leaving an office building in New York. Both opted for a mostly black ensemble, with Mary-Kate jazzing hers up with sequined shorts and Ashley adding a pop of color with a blue top.

I love both these looks. They’re very professional, but have a nice touch of glam and personal style. I wonder what the girls’ meeting was about!

Mary-Kate Olsen’s Relaxed Night Out

People.com spotted Mary-Kate Olsen enjoying a relaxed night out at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont last night. The tiny starlet hung out in a back patio with a pal before taking off around 11pm.

No photos have cropped up yet, but People.com says she wore a long dress and carried a vintage purse.

I desperately want a random Olsen sighting in New York or Hollywood. It would make my year!

Steve Madden to Design Olsenboye Shoes

Steve Madden, who Mary-Kate and Ashley partnered with to create shoes for Elizabeth and James, will partner one again with the design duo to bring us Olsenboye shoes and accessories.

“We believe that Olsenboye will be an excellent addition to our growing portfolio of footwear and accessories brands,” Edward Rosenfeld, chairman and chief executive officer of Madden, told WWD.

The line will include cute suede flats, canvas sneakers, bucket bags and hobo bags in plaid and aid wash prints. All the items will range from $20-$50 in price.
