Remember the low-life that won Big Brother season 9, Adam Jasinski? I couldn’t stand him on the show and was thoroughly disgusted that he won. Now there’s another reason why he should never have won.

Not only is he an insensitive jerk because he referred to children with autism as “retards” (which thankfully got him fired from his job as a public relations manager for the United Autism Foundation), he has no sense at all. According to the Boston Herald, he was caught by an undercover agent trying to sell large quantities of Oxycodone:

Jasinski allegedly told a special agent of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration he had used the $500,000 winnings the CBS reality show paid him in 2008 to buy “thousands of pills of Oxycodone” he planned to sell “to customers all along the East Coast,” prosecutors state.

I’m wondering if he’s trying to live up to the ideal of Survivor: Borneo winner, Richard Hatch who was dumb enough to win $1 million on the show, then avoid paying the taxes. I’d say that Adam tops Richard on this one. What do you think?

On this week’s Biggest Loser, the nine remaining contestants were flown to Washington D.C. where they were given the opportunity to help their fellow Americans live healthier lives.

Allison Sweeney gave them a Pop Challenge. They were to bring as many people as they could to a workout session by the Washington Monument. The person to bring the most people would win the challenge.

It was very close, but Liz won the challenge. She got to take all of her recruits to Subway for dinner.

Then Jillian, Bob and the nine contestants went to talk to members of Congress about changes needed to stop the obesity statistics from rising.

Next, Allison told them they would have a four-part challenge. The winner would get immunity. These were the four steps in the challenge:

• Run one mile around Constitution Gardens. The top 6 finishers would continue to the second phase.
• They had to gather 17,954 pennies. That’s one penny to represent each pound lost to date on the Biggest Loser [WOW!] The first four people to gather their pennies would move on to the next phase. Liz had won a chance to sit out one level of this challenge because she won the Pop Challenge.
• They had to balance the longest on a ledge while holding a pilates ball over their head. The two that hold on the longest compete in the final challenge.
• The first person to take 206 steps first would win immunity. 206 stands for the number of Biggest Loser contestants so far. The winner of the challenge was Rebecca.

The next day, they all went to the White House to pick vegetables from the White House garden and use them to cook a meal with the White House chef.

The two people who fell below the yellow line this week were Liz and Tracey. Even though I have come to dislike her less over the past week or so, I was still glad that they chose to send Tracey home. She was just too much of a game player and not there for the right reasons, until maybe this week.

Since she’s been home, she has lost even more weight and has now dropped 86 lbs. so far. She’s training for a full marathon and looks terrific.

One of the most charismatic and interesting former Survivors that I have met is Rupert Boneham. Every Survivor fan knows that he’s the original pirate and first caught our imagination when he stole the other tribe’s shoes on his first season on Survivor. Then, after appearing on the Survivor: All-Stars season, he was awarded $1 million for being the fans’ favorite Survivor.

I can tell you that he is truly one of the kindest, warmest individuals I’ve met. He looks gruff on the outside, but he’s a marshmallow on the inside. He is very passionate about helping at-risk young people in his home town of Indianapolis, IN. He runs a charity called Rupert’s Kids and helps young people to get out of the system. He’s a wonderful guy. That’s why I wanted to update you on his latest news.

First of all, he appeared this weekend on Pet Pals TV and there’s a very fun video clip of him, his family and their many exotic pets. It seems that they own a number of reptiles including boa constrictors, lizards and an alligator. Oh, and a miniature dachshund.

But more importantly, he’s hosting an event to raise funds for his charity later this month. It will be held at the Indianapolis Art Museum and will also feature appearances from former Survivors Coach Wade from Survivor 18, JT Thomas, winner of Survivor 18 and Sandra Diaz-Twine from Survivor 7.

The event should be fun and anyone who attends will be able to meet and talk to the former Survivors in addition to helping a very worthy cause. If you can’t make it to Indianapolis, you can still help Rupert’s Kids with a donation. Here’s where you can find out all the facts about the event.

I think it’s always inspiring to see good people doing good things to give to others in need. I hope you’ll consider helping too.

I just got home from seeing This Is It. It’s two hours of film showing the preparations for the 50 city tour Michael Jackson was going to do before he died so tragically. And it’s the most fascinating reality film ever.

I had heard great things about the movie and have been a fan of Michael’s since I was young so I was really looking forward to seeing it. But I was not prepared for just how amazing it would actually be.

My first thought was that it’s so very sad that the concert tour never got to happen because it would have been the most fabulous concert ever. MJ’s attention to every tiny detail of the music, the dance and the stage appearance was incredible. He truly was a rare talent.

There is also lots of new 3-D affects that were created for the tour and they were incredible, particularly the new 3-D scenes for Thriller. Even if you have seen all of his music videos, you haven’t seen anything until you have seen this film. I’m sad we can never see the actual concert completed.

Michael Jackson was the inventor of the dance moves that became popping and locking of today. His music went places music had never gone before and he revolutionized everything he ever touched. All of that was evident in the film.

If you have even considered seeing this film, you really must go see it before it’s gone from the theaters. There are only a few more days before it will leave the theaters, so hurry.

I can’t wait until it’s available on Blu-ray or DVD so I can buy it to watch over and over…it’s just that good. [It's available to order on DVD, so I'm ordering my copy now.] Oh, and I have already bought the soundtrack. It’s great too.

The world lost a true genius when Michael passed away. But perhaps with this film, we can all keep just a tiny bit of his last days.

This morning, Mika & Canaan, the latest team to be eliminated from the Amazing Race were guests on the Early Show. Mika was so fearful about talking of her fears of water and heights that she actually wore the water wings to the interview!! LOL!

In this week’s episode of Survivor: Samoa, the castaways were really suffering with the cold rain that just wouldn’t let up. Jaison named it “the man test.” Russell H. said that he was actually enjoying the rain. [He’s nuts!]

During the Reward Challenge, Russell S. collapsed and Jeff Probst had to call in the medical team to check on him. The medics said that he had dangerously low blood pressure and Jeff Probst called off the challenge. He told the tribes that no one would get the reward and both tribes would go to Tribal Counsel and vote someone off that night.

Galu was very upset and worried about Russell. It made them all realize how easy it would be to get dehydrated and collapse like he did. They were sad to see their leader in such danger. Even the Foa Foa tribe was shaken by the way things had hapened at the challenge.

When Jeff told Russell that he would have to leave the game, he cried. It meant so much to him because he had tried so many times to get on the show. Very sad.

Then, when both tribes got to the Tribal Counsel, Jeff let them know that Russell had been pulled from the game because of his health, but that he was doing much better. He gave Russell’s chief necklace to the Galu tribe and told them to elect a new leader. Then he told them that there would not be any voting that night after all.

So this week’s Survivor: Samoa saw Russell Swan get eliminated, but not by a vote. And no others had to leave. I thought it was very sad to see Russell go. He was one of the castaways I was enjoying on the show this season. Too bad it couldn’t have been the other Russell to leave.
