In recent weeks, rumors have surfaced that Manning and the Colts are no longer on the same page. He disagrees with those rumors.

“It’s always been great,” Manning said of his relationship with Colts owner Jim Irsay. “And it will continue to be great, I assure you of that.”

Let’s hope that Manning gets to play out the rest of his career without having to worry about injuries.

According to reports, Hendry was given a multi-year contract and his job duties will mostly deal with aiding Brian Cashman, the GM of the Yankees.

When Hendry was with the Cubs, they had quite a bit of success. He was the GM from 2002 until 2011 and in that time, the Cubs won their division three times: in 2003, 2007 and 2008. In fact, the 2003 Cubs probably would have made it to the World Series if not for the Steve Bartman incident.

In total, Hendry worked for the Cubs for a total of 17 years. Prior to GM, he was a scout and farm director.

Davis missed the entire season with a herniated disk in his back. Last year, he played with the Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers. In the 15 games he played with the Cavs, he averaged 13.9 points and 6.1 assists.

Once healthy, Davis will step into a starting job with the Knicks. And New York can really use his services. The point guard play for the Knicks has been horrible this year.

If Davis is in shape and motivated, he has always proven to be a really good point guard. Knicks fans should hope that will again be the case this season … starting next week.

The great thing about Phil Jackson’s 2004 book, which was called “The Last Season”, was the honesty. In “Eleven Rings”, you can expect that same level of honesty. It’ll be very interesting to read what Jackson truly thinks about Kobe Bryant and the other characters in the Lakers organization.

Speaking of Jackson, the rumor is he’s the next in line if Mike D’Antoni gets fired. As it stands, the head coach for the New York Knicks is definitely on the hot seat.

If Jackson returns and leads the Knicks to a championship, the rest of the sporting world would have to admit that Jackson is the biggest winner in the history of competition.

However, there is some good news to report. The superstar tight end is no longer in a walking boot. And when he answered questions, he sounded relatively upbeat.

“We’re going day by day,” said Gronkowski. “Making new steps every day. Feeling better every day. That’s a positive sign and you just want to keep going in the right direction.”

When asked about his walking boot, Gronkowski says it’s off and will stay off.

The 25-year-old just finished one of the most amazing seasons ever by a tight end. Gronkowski, who stands 6-foot-6, had 90 catches for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdown catches.

The Lakers are rumored to have another target in mind: Ramon Sessions of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs don’t have much use for Sessions and they’re willing to trade him for a first round pick. However, the Lakers haven’t yet agreed to a deal. Since he’s due $9 million over the next two years, the Lakers may not want to pick up that salary plus give up a draft pick.

On the season, Sessions is averaging 9.1 points and 4.3 assists in 21.8 minutes per game. He would play more but he’s behind rookie sensation Kyrie Irving. With the Lakers, Session would start.

On the season, the Lakers are 12-9 and only 2-7 on the road.

Considering that Overeem is 6-foot-5 and weights more than 260 pounds, I hope the judge throws the book at this fool. How are you going to place your hands on a woman when you fight for a living?

Unfortunately, Overeem will get off easy. He’s being charged with only misdemeanor battery. Expect him to pay a small fine and agree to do some type of anger management class.

Overeem is probably best known for ending Brock Lesnar’s career. The fight, which happened on December 30th, ended in a first-round TKO.

Nelson was injured during a game against the New Orleans Hornets. In that contest, the point guard was hit on the head twice.

Even when Nelson has played this year, he hasn’t lived up to expectations. The 29-year-old is averaging just 8.1 points and 5.1 assists while shooting 38.7% from the field and 28.9% from three-point land.

The Magic will start Chris Duhon in Nelson’s place until the point guard sees the concussion-like symptoms subside.
