The 4400’s Christie Laing In "Fear Itself" Tonight

by Alexandra on June 26th, 2008

The 4400’s Christie Laing (photos) will be a guest star in tonight’s The 4400 Guide episode of NBC’s horror anthology, Fear Itself. If you recall, Christie portrayed an adult Isabelle in two episodes of The 4400, The Marked and Mommy’s Bosses. Tonight’s episode is all about something sinister at a wedding!

Update: You can see the video of this episode called In Sickness And In Health here at NBC’s site.

In Fear Itself, she portrays the character Kelly. Although this is one episode for her, I’m excited because I’m a horror fan, and think it’s cool to have someone from our favorite show there.

Interestingly, Christie has had roles in Smallville, and Supernatural. I do recall her in one of the Marked episodes of The 4400, in which she was the character in a film from the noir film director (who had the ability to predict or tell the truth via his movies).

However, I find myself a little embarrassed that I cannot recall her portrayal in the Mommy’s Bosses episode. It’s possible she was a stunt double for Megalyn, in which case, I would not have known. I’m sure some of our savvy 4400 fans knows exactly where she was in that episode. Catch Fear Itself tonight on NBC at 10:00 PM!

I was able to watch the episode at nbc.com a week after it aired. I found it to be quite interesting though not at all scary, just a bit creepy. I think Christie did an excellent job in her part. I loved all of her facial expressions they were priceless. This is the largest role I have seen her play so it was a treat for me. I think she is quite talented.
